Nonnina keeps your family recipes. This page explains which data the app collects, why, who processes it and how you can delete it. It describes the app as it works today.
Who is responsible
Nonnina is published by Maryne Minetto, sole trader (micro-entrepreneur, France, SIRET [to come]). For any question about your data: maryne.minetto@gmail.com.
The data we collect
- Your sign-in identity: the identifier provided by Apple or Google when you sign in with your account. We never receive your Apple or Google password.
- Your email address and name: those of your Apple or Google account, and the name you choose to show in your profile.
- Your recipes: titles, origins (who, where, when, on what occasion), ingredients, steps, number of people, the boards they belong to, and your recipe photos.
- Your import count: a timestamped line for each import by link or photo, to apply the monthly limit of the free plan. It is deleted with your account.
- The history of your cooking and sharing, which feeds the statistics on your profile, and a few usage events (for example viewing your profile or importing a recipe) to improve the app.
We do not collect your location, your contacts or any health data. The app contains no advertising and uses no advertising tracking tool.
Why
- To let you create, organise, edit and cook your recipes.
- To show your cooking and sharing statistics in your profile.
- To sign you in to your account, on all your devices.
- To improve the app from aggregated usage events.
Who processes your data
We use service providers, who act only on our instructions:
- Supabase: hosting of the database, the photos and sign-in. Data is stored in the European region (Ireland, eu-west-1).
- Anthropic (Claude): when you import a recipe from a link or a photo, the text or image is sent to extract the recipe, and unit conversion is requested. Anthropic only receives that content, for that purpose.
- Pexels: when you search for a cover photo, the recipe title is sent to find royalty-free photos.
- Apple and Google: the sign-in service and, for Apple, the revocation of access when you delete your account.
The site you are reading is hosted by Cloudflare. It sets no tracking cookies.
How long
Your data is kept as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, it is erased from our databases, our photo storage and the sign-in service. Images you have shared on a social network or sent to someone are not affected: they stay where you posted them.
Your rights
You can access your data, correct it, export it, object to its processing or ask for its deletion. For deletion, the simplest way is the option in the app (Profile, Delete my account), described on this page. For other requests, write to us at the contact address above. You can also contact the CNIL (the French data protection authority, cnil.fr) if you believe your rights are not respected.
Children
Nonnina is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If new data is collected or a new provider is added, this page will be updated before release, and the date above will change.
